From the compilation album of ๆฑไบฌไบๅค [Tokyo Jihen]'s singles and b-sides, ๆทฑๅคๆ [Shin'ya Waku]
Sheena Ringo's works always seem to make effort at making good music videos, and this one is visually looking pretty nice, it fits the theme of the music, as there are many American Jazz and R&B influences in a lot of her work. The song itself feels kinda cliche, but the production and the small solos elevate things a bit, although the ใคใณใฐใชใใทใฅ [Engurishu] feels obviously strange, as in most productions when Japanese people attempt singing in English.
Uhhh, guys? I think you both posted in the wrong neighborhood topic.
I guess you guys didn't see the word "video" in the topic, so you thought it's: "What music video album are you watching listening to right now?" ?
That's so cute ah ?????
Invisible spoilers down below(which can be highlighted with the cursor in order to be seen) The coolest part starts halfway the video.
The song itself reminds The Beatles' high-production Art Pop era, which is pretty cool and well-sounding.
Music videos directed by Michel Gondry always have something special in them.
This particular one's visual effects feel artificial but they give a child-like toyish ambience.
The deep blue sky along the lightened green grass give such a nice contrast, which is the highlight of the music video for me.
As in terms of story, its feels non-linear, it has fast-paced choppy cuts, and introduces new sudden ideas. It's confusing but stylish and quite creative.
Must have been inspired by A-Ha's Take on Me music video, but with less of a coherent story it seems...
I typed "้ณดใใใฆ" on YouTube to listen that Haru Nemuri's song for the first time, but then found out this music video in the search results that has "้ณดใใใฆ" in its song title. The music seems kinda nice.
