Question About Adding An Artist

When you're adding an artist that lives in a different country than he or she was born in, do you use their birth country or the country they currently live in? Edit: I also have another question. Who would be the artist for this release and the others like it? https://music.apple.com/us/album/sweet-hymns-of-fellowship-live/1781332598 Apple Music has the artist listed as just "Gaither", but that doesn't seem right to me. They used to be called "The Gaither Homecoming Friends".
