I looked up "Shining Town" on Google, and most of the results were for Sidewinder, Colorado, where the Stanley Hotel is. (That's the hotel that was used in The Shining.) However, there's also a Palomino stud stallion named "Shining in Town" who lives at the Toyon Ranch in Pilot Point, Texas, where they're very eager for you to know that "FROZEN SEMEN IS AVAILABLE IN THE USA," presumably from this particular horse (though you never really know, with Texans.) It's too bad actually, since "Shining Town" might have been a pretty good band name and/or album title if it weren't for that.
It autocompleted for the poll options, and I realized I got the song title wrong on the first one too ](*,). Anyways since I can't change the poll because there's already been votes in, everybody take note the top voting option is for Shining Town Yellow.

Yeah. This one's gonna take me a bit. I think the CMAT song is a bit too mid for me. Not enough spark for a pop single. Stargazer Lillies is total MJcore so probably leaning towards that.
The thing I realize now is, we all had four choices for this tourney, so I figured I'd pick three songs that I figured everyone should like, and one other song that I personally like and assumed nobody else would, because shoegazer fans all have a huge inferiority complex about their musical tastes. So of course the three songs I thought everyone else would like are all knocked out, and the one that's left is this one which I figured nobody else would like.
What does that tell us? "Don't assume you know what other people are going to like," obviously, but beyond that I have no idea whatsoever.
