Missed the last 2 CMAT records since I didn't really dig the singles, but upon revisit Euro-Country is much more charming than I remember. Old Saw have been doing cool stuff like this for a few years now (think I've only heard their debut in full format but still). Beginning to sound like a broken record, but these are two great songs and I'm not sure which way I'll vote.

Tilt of the Lamp was not a nomination from me, but I did vote for it nonetheless!

Yeah this is why I should stop trying to post these during a Wendys stop, making the correction

No idea. I like both, and both are completely different from each other.

Only small edge I might give Euro-Country is that it works better as a single than the Old Saw cut, but... yeah, toughโ€”

Yeah. I feel the same way, but it's more of a big edge for me. "Tilt of the Lamp" has a great mellow vibe, and honestly and way more my cuppa for the most part, BUT it doesn't come close to feeling like a single to me. Just a great album cut.

Euro-Country. But I'll definitely be checking out that Old Saw album.

I'd give the edge to the Old Saw album as wellโ€”
& cuts like The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station or Running/Planning may have swayed me a bit more, butโ€”

Ended up going with Old Saw, but it's a weird vote. These feel like songs from two different universes.

Euro-Country is very enjoyable, but Old Saw have come up with something truly special.
