I think perhaps it's time to change the featured thread on the home page. I general, I think it would be good to change the featured thread at least once every three months, to prevent it from becoming stale, or just remove it all together.

This will get changed this week. A site update is currently being tested and the featured thread will get updated once this is released (as well as making 2012 the default year across the site, and a few other things). Sorry for being a bit slow to do this, but there's been a few other things happening that have stopped the update from being released on time.

I happened to point this out to albummaster too once.
As you can see, albummaster is working on it.
I really hope it gets updated soon.
