I've got a mac and a PC. Considering most of what I do is browser-based, and both have Chrome, not much else matters to me. I game on my PC and do music and art-related stuff on my mac. Which is better? My PC, cause it doesn't cost TWO THOUSAND FUCKING DOLLARS.

I remember reading somewhere (a couple of years ago) that according to a suervey (in the US) when people asked "if they could get ANY computer they'd like, which would they go for", the answer was overwhelmingly pro-Apple...

Also, I'd assume so. Apple products are easier to use, more aesthetically pleasing to the eye and expensive, therefore a status symbol.

The Velvet Underground frequently used Macs to make their experimental sounds. For example, the electric viola parts were not played by John Cale, but rather made on a Mac.

Yes, and the entirety of Beethoven's 9th was put together originally in GarageBand.

If money were no object I'd have one too, but in the real world money matters and I can get a much higher spec PC for much cheaper.
When I'm rich I'll get a mac.
