Thought it might be a good idea to have a similar thread that we have in the lounge here in the music forum. Basically it's a free-for-all, any topic, question, concern, thing you're excited about or general idea you want to discuss, anything musically-related that doesn't really need it's own thread, as there has seem to bit too many new threads overflooding this forum section recently. Maybe a joint first or toss of a coin it an outright winner is desired. Personally, I think a draw would be a good result as I love both tracks

Also from 2026, I've been loving the new ones from Wendy Eisenberg, Bill Callahan, Roc Marciano, Nirosta Steel, Aldous Harding, Beth Orton, Twisted Teens, Deloyd Elze, Bill Orcutt, Local, Bruiser Wolf, and the Tirez Tirez reissue on Numero Group.

Plus, have been loving Felt's Forever Breathes the Lonely Word, The Jesus and Mary Chain's Darklands, Guerilla Maab's Rise, Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde (hot take: good album), Joe Jackon's Night and Day, Sean Price's Monkey Barz and Heltah Skeltah's Nocturnal, Silver Jews' Bright Flight, Prefab Sprout's Steve McQueen, Judee Sill's Heart Food, The Roches' self-titled, both the last Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band records, and Bobby Blue Bland's His California Album.

If anybody's got any recommendations for 2026 albums I might have missed (so basically everything) and might like, please share.

Ugh. I'm positively gutted by this. Brooklyn Vegan has been my go to for indie recs ( Bill's Indie Basement in particular) for the last few years.
