No Hair Metal??

Im wondering why there arnt any hair metal albums listed highly on this site. I mean I'm not a huge fan of that genre but im just curious where the absence comes from?

As much as I do love hair metal, there are very few redeeming qualities about it from a musical standpoint (outside of technical abilities). It's often generic, pompous and shallow, something that doesn't typically endear it to a lot of people.

Hey he's good, just pompous, shallow, and (sometimes at least) generic. Like I like some of his stuff but at his core, he is more than a little full of himself, and a lot of his music tends to reflect that.
