Heard of them but I haven't heard their music. This should be a good start.

This is their best work. 'Red' is a great track but it was my love of the title track that made me go out and buy this album

Funny, just yesterday I realised how Powder Blue/Bitten by the Tailfly/Asleep in the Back is one of the best 3-song streaks ever. Other great tracks are Any Day Now, Coming Second, and Can't Stop. The title song is definitely the best though. Probably the second best Elbow track after Friend of Ours, and I'd call this the third best Elbow album after The Seldom Seen Kid and Leaders of the Free World, respectively.

Man, I love this band, and this album is one of the better debuts I've ever heard.
