OK, so there's a Pokémon battle simulator on the internet called Pokémon Showdown where you can build your team and play against each other. There's nothing to dowload, it's totally free, it's like heaven. Thanks to Jack for this (and the idea of the tourney itself), and that's where the battles will occur.
The principle of the tournament itself is pretty obvious, it's just about building a team and battle each other. Obviously there will be certain rules (don't even think about getting Mewtwo, Lugia and Kyogre in the same team, eh) but we'll see that later.
Before, I'd like to know who is interested in participating. There will only be one or two threads for the whole thing so no risk of messing with the organization of other tourneys. No need to be an expert, it's for fun, so just get a Charizard and come 😄 That said, it will be an active tourney in the sense that you'll have to play, and not just vote, so just sign up if you're sure to able to battle kinda regularly. Not every day obviously, we're not in a hurry and there's the timezones problem, but less than once every two weeks will make the thing sink and be forgotten, like the other one.
Seems a bit complicated/time consuming, but it really isn't, building a team is great fun, a battle doesn't last more than 5-10 minutes, and there's nothing quite like throwing an ice beam at a Dragonair. Also, we'll only be able to make this if we're enough, so get motivated!
