Leaning slightly towards 2011 largely because of section.80 and 'BTSTU', but I don't love either team.

Aight, these might not be the best teams ever, but they both definitely have they're merits. After looking at both teams a few times and giving the singles a listen, I think these are the two most evenly matched teams of the tournament so far. I have no clue who to vote for. Both are well rounded and varied with ups and downs...

both teams have one thing that makes me take notice (Ravedeath 1972, Stormcocker) but otherwise just a big shrug all around. Though I do like most of 2011 if not love it, while 1971 does even less, so I think 2011 might just do it, but not exactly the most earth-shattering match of the week.

2011 has all great albums and a few good singles and easily beats '71.

Don't get what the problem with '71 is. Thembi and Construรงรฃo are wonderful. So's Ravedeath, but Antlers +M83 help win this over for '71 to me.

I'm not too big on either of these teams. That Caravan record is fabulous, and the other side has The Diamond Mine and Frank Ocean going for it. Both teams also have stuff I dislike... The Antlers are one of those trendy bands I don't get and while Chico's thing might be great for what it is, it falls outside my sphere of resonance. And yeah, Thembi was an interesting trip, but I'm not sure what mood I'd need to be in to take it again.

Ended up going 2011.

Team Tapestry by a lot. I've been of the opinion that 2011 was a weak year in music, and nothing I heard from this set has changed my opinion. 1971 singles were far better, the Caravan album and Stormcock were two wonderful discoveries.

This '71 team is probably the best presented so far
