So here's the definitive PkmnT thread. It will serve three purposes : first, I'll explain the rules of both team building and the game, while trying to keep it as short as possible. Then, I'll make the bracket, and finally, you'll post your teams. Like the other time, there will be another thread where we'll post the battles for people to watch them if they weren't there.
About the site, it's called Pokémon Showdown. When to reach it, you can choose a server. If you want to train or play, choose the first one, otherwise we choose any. You have to make an account (which only consists in a name and a password), and then you'll be able to make a team using the teambuilder on the left. Choose a new team, make sure it's "OU", and then you can select a Pokémon by clicking the white box below. Then you can choose its moves, stats, ability, etc. Do that six times and you're ready. You can change it at any moment by clicking back on the Pokémons/moves/stats/items/etc. you don't want anymore.
To battle a stranger and test your team, choose "OU" on the main menu of a server, choose your team, and start. To battle someone precise, just right click on the name of someone on the list in the middle of the page and challenge them (always in "OU"). After that the battle begins, and you just click on a move to use it, and on a Pokémon to switch it in. There are two important details left : when your mouse is over one of the Pokémons, you can see its type(s), its possible abilities, and its min and max speeds (to know if you'll be able to move first or not), pretty useful. Also, when you type "/data name of a pokemon" (without the "") in the chat box, a little reminder pops with the infos about that Pokémon, really useful in the middle of a touch decision. It works with moves, abilities and items as well.

When you have battled someone, you must NOT close the window. Below the battle screen will be a "Share Replay" button; make sure you click on it. It will enable you to post a link of the battle here. If the battle is not saved, it will not be counted, so don't forget to do it. Not that I think you'll lie or anything, but I want everything to be displayed and accessible here. I don't remember (and can't check atm) whether the link to the saved battle is given to you when you click, but one the Showdown home page, there is a "Replays" category where you can type your username to find your battles and their associated links.
Here are the rules for the teams.
1) No ubers of any kind. That includes the following Pokémons : Aegislash, Arceus, Blaziken, Darkrai (sorry Gabe), Deoxys (all forms), Dialga, Genesect, Giratina, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Kyurem (all forms), Lugia, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Shaymin-S, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zekrom and Zygarde.
2) No mega-evolutions. It's shit and we won't use them.
3) All 6 Pokémons of a team must be different, sorry Happymeal.
About posting the teams, I think they should remain secret until the first round. After that round, everyone will post them here and they won't be allowed to be changed, but until then it's funnier if we keep them for ourselves so there is a surprise.

What format are we supposed to be in?
EDIT: OK I see it's OU but I'm confused what that means. Can we only choose from like the 20 that are listed under "OU" or are we OK as long as it lets us test it against other OU people? _________________
