I was attempting to add an album for my chart from a Czech band called DVA, but I noticed that there is already a band called DVA (different band) on the site and I am forced to choose that band when I attempt to add the album and band to my chart.
I haven't come across this problem before and was hoping someone could fill me in on the procedure for how to add an album from a band that shares a name with another one already in BEA's database.

When two or more artists share the same name, please differentiate the name of the new artist using the nationality (e.g. UK), or if they're from the same country, add a decade (e.g. '60s), and on the off-chance that they formed in the same country and are from the same decade, use the genre. The name can always be changed afterwards, so don't worry too much about which element to pick, just choose something that clearly identifies it & shows it is different.

I've fixed the problem, though there were probably more efficient ways of going about it. (I'm not sure how you add an artist to the database without attaching an album to them, so I had to add 1st floor as a duplicate for now- the band only had one album)
1st Floor is by "The Floor" from Denmark (new artist I had to add).
Well I had to add them again because the album in question was attached to an American band of the same name("Floor" though the proper name for the band from Denmark is "The Floor" as well), The Floor from Denmark didn't exist >_>...

i've run into artists with the same name from different countries, but i have an artist to add, and this is the first time i've run into the same name and same country.
the band is called Dust, and the existing Dust is from the 70's:
