He's a music critic that reviews albums. Sometimes he puts interesting records on my radar and other times he irks me with his attempts at humour. Characters aside he seems like a nice person.
yeah i def respect his opinion and reasoning but differ w him a lot too. agree that he's a nice guy, he handled the thing where they accidentally used his face for that shooting so respectfully, i was really impressed.

Agreed, he gets an incredible amount of hate though. Like any opinionated person does. Im trying to see what the overall consensus is on him on this site.
He's one of the most polarising critics I have ever encountered. Of course there are moments when I agree and disagree with him. But, I think the way he presents himself in his recent videos prevents me from taking him seriously as a music critic - he can be way too meme-y for his own good. His editing quirks he does also really distracts me from actually listening to his opinion. Cal Cuchesta was the best thing he's created until that horrendous mixtape dropped. I don't hate the guy, based off his interviews and podcasts, but his reviews really are hit/miss for me. _________________
I like his reviews even if I find some of his opinions and scores for some albums compared to others to be laughable (6 to MBDTF but 7 to Macklemore and 8 to the new Drake lol) but I still think that he's very good at expressing his opinions and for recommending albums. I think the bate comes from his dumb memes (most of which are perpetuated by his pathetic fanbase) and his fame.
