I certainly think ITAOTS is better than anything Beck ever released. Beck has made me so much happier than Neutral Milk Hotel has though.

Yeah, Beck is alright really and it was a pretty easy choice. Both Loser and Pay No Mind from Mellow Gold are really good songs and there are some others strewn about on his other records. I don't think he has managed to cut any album that is solid all the way through but Sea Change is okay plus.

Thanks I guess it was lucky he was up against an awful band like Neutral Milk Hotel huh?

I do think Mutations and Sea Change are solid albums though. It's hard to say with Odelay
