both are great artists, but i'll go with Muse for regularity even if Muse will probably never do something as close to perfection as Thriller.

Both are quality musicians but the rise of Muse over the last few years and their prowess as a live act took my vote. Consider it.

I see a lot of parallels between Muse and U2 in the 80's. Both started off slightly under the radar, both had identifiable influences, although I'd argue U2 sounded more unique at the time, and both have steadily become known as great live acts and arena rock bands.
