I'm not nearly as active on this site as I once was but I check my ranking once in a while to make sure I'm still in the top 100. i don't care about member rankings but i do care about maintaining accurate album ratings and rankings for my charts. That's where i become weirdly nerdy. I also constantly maintain a local spreadsheet of the rankings and perform statistical analysis over that to see what years and decades are my favorites and which are lagging in quantity compared to my what i remember listening to along my biological history. _________________ fav artists NOW | ALL-TIME favs | i listen 2 more music than u so u don't have 2!

I only ever use it to compare my position to the top ranked artists page for fun. Atm I am at numero 234 so that makes me Broken Social Scene. Now, I would probably say hey that's cool but I have yet to even listen to You Forgot It in People. Other than that I got no need for it. I also lost all interest in member points when I reached level 7 cause I need them custom charts. Long gone are the days of finding some obscure album with a massive track list to boost my mod points.
