ing Stone magazine. (Stupid character limit!!!!!!)

How many choices do you agree with?
By the way, the omission of "The Blimp (mousetrapreplica)", "Dachau Blues" or "Pena", is really sad. Would take any of these tracks over the songs from TMR which RS included.

It also lacks "Abba Zabba", which I'd have chosen instead of their picks off Safe As Milk. "Dachau Blues" is an obvious omission, I agree.

I suppose trying to just pick ten is pretty difficult. Personally, I'd like to have seen Autumn's Child.

Strange that not one of these is from TMR. And I would have expected "Electricity" to be there too.
But yeah, it doesn't.
The REAL list is:
My Human Gets Me Blues
Electricity
Her Eyes Are a Blue Million Miles
Moonlight On Vermont
Big Eyed Beans From Venus
Lick My Decals Off Baby
Ashtray Heart
Beatle Bones 'N Smokin' Stones
Tropical Hot Dog Night

My personal favorite has always been "Veteran's Day Poppy". Very tough, I don't think Beefheart's material was meant to be taken in pinches so to speak.

Taking one from each of the first four LPs which seem to have slipped through the net:
Zig Zag Wanderer
Ah Feel Like Ahcid
When Big Joan Sets Up (that riff!! the scatting!!)
I Love You, You Big Dummy
...although have to confess Moonlight On Vermont is probably the one CB track I keep coming back to... _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing
