What's your 5 favourite artists/bands? I don't necessarily mean who you think are technically the best. I mean more who you listen to the most and personally favour.

My list would be:
MF DOOM
Death Grips
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Nick Drake
Black Sabbath

EDIT: OK I'm replacing My Bloody Valentine with Black Sabbath

While I doubt they'll ever crack my top 5, I do like Godspeed You! Black Emperor very much.

I have something like a top 200:
my top 100 favorite artists
my next 100 favorite artists

Also came up with my top 100 fav artists a different way:
my favorite artists based on assigning points to each artist's album in my overall top 2200

The #1 either way = genesis

Here's a list of more current artists from today:
