The Cars โโ Live At The Agora 1978
This album was released earlier this year and really blows me away. Basically their first self-titled album with some extra tracks but the harmonies are a bit different and sublime!
I like Cheap Trick and Sergent Pepper is a top 10 album of all time so I wanted to hear their take on it in concert. It was well done but honestly not something I will revisit. Of course. The Beatles version is better.
This album was recorded in September of 2009 to commemorate the 42nd anniversary the original album.
I do think it was a cool idea for Cheap Trick to honor one of the bands that was a big influence on their music.

No one reads the subject lines. They are not clearly displayed. In fact this is the first time I wven noticed that feature. You can just ignore that part of the post. (everyone else does) Otherwise your posts will be hard to understand.

Yeah, that first album rules. I've said it before, possibly the greatest new wave album of all time. Will have to check out this live album at some point. Peace!
FM / LIVE . . . PLUS by CLIMAX BLUES BAND
Blues rock with great guitar work by Peter Haycock and sax by Colin Cooper. In the style of Humble Pie.
Best song: You make Me Sick with it's chorus of "you make me sick cause I love you so much". My other favorite tracks are All The Time In The World, I Am Constant, Standing By A River, Goin' To New York, and a cover of Wilbert Harrison's Let's Work Together.
This album came from a concert that was broadcast live over WNEW in New York.
FLY BY NIGHT by RUSH
Bought this on vinyl when it came out and never listened to it. You'll like it if you like Rush but the only track that I put in my favorites was Fly By Night.
EXCITABLE BOY by WARREN ZEVON
Catchy tunes and clever/bizarre lyrics make this album one of my favorites.
Favorite tracks: Lawyers, Gun and Money, Werewolves of London, Excitable Boy, Johnny Strikes Up The Band, and Roland TheHeadless Thompson Gunner.
The End Of The Innocence by Don Henley
Favorite traces: The End Of The Innocence, The Last Worthless Evening, New York Minute, and The Heart Of The Matter.

That's a shame. The whole album is quite good. Not great, but quite solid. It's def way more than just the single.
