Hmmm... why? His newer choices seem to be in line with his older choices. Moving Pictures vs. Siamese Dream for instance. Just the standard modern classics - The Suburbs, Elephant, Turn On the Bright Lights , etc....
Is it just that u like the older classics better?

When it comes to older classics I seem to have pretty much the same taste as everyone else. but when it comes to newer classics I seem to have very different taste than most people. I don't know why, it's just that way for some reason.

That makes sense! There are several new classics I don't agree are "classic" either now that I think about it. We're probably just getting old! Lol
