I'm just putting this out there as a longtime fan of both this site and the Beatles. I just finished watching Hard Days Night and as the film closes and looks into the future, this is the closing shot:

I think "BEA" must stand for, "Before Eventual Accident". The filmmakers and the rest of The Beatles knew that Paul was to die in a car accident several years later. This scene symbolizes Paul's helplessness in the matter, locked behind a door, still wondering what the future might hold for a bright young man such as himself. Little did he know that his life would be coming to an end, and his band mates did nothing to stop it.

Actually, The Beatles wanted so badly to be the best that they took our site's first three letters...BEA...as part of their name to be sure they would be big. That's the REAL reason they spelled the name the way they did. They wanted BEA to be part of their name. Wise marketing move, it was. They knew that linking themselves with AM's creation was the true key to huge success. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold
