Love the hell out of the Open Mike Eagle album. Think that's in my top 10 for 2017 for now. Will probably change due to this tournament. While I have to give Paramore album a listen. Might also knock out there 2013 album as well.

I absolutely love Brick Body Kids. Open Mike Eagle is such a smart rapper but he never feels like he's trying to be funny or clever - his lyrics are just so good they feel effortless. Speaking of effortless, he's able to mix rapping and singing incredibly well, and although his rapping is pretty laid back (sometimes it feels like he's whispering) I still find myself hanging on every word he says. Add in the fact that this album is easily the most personal thing he's done and it runs away with my vote.
After Laughter is pretty good too, and I particularly like "Hard Times." Overall though I always found myself getting bored by the end, and Eagle never bores me. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.

I feel like I listen to After Laughter a lot more, so I'm going to have that be the decider for me.
