Getting Logged Out - Suggestions - Forums : Best Ever Albums

Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

Not sure if this is a problem unique to me or not, but I've found that often when I'm entering a new album, once I click "save changes," I'm told I'm logged out at the next screen. Once I log in, all the changes I made to the album are gone. If I hit save changes enough, eventually I'm not logged out, it seems to be random.

Just thought I'd mention it, not sure if it's me or a site thing.

I have the same problem, but only with some public wi-fi, I was assuming it was a network problem.

Hi, apologies for the issue and thanks for reporting. I'll check into and see what might be causing this problem. Which browser/OS were you using?

Thanks (same as me FWIW). I'll investigate further but BEA uses cookies to help maintain a 'logged in' state. It's possible something might be blocking the cookies (e.g. an ad blocker or some other browser extension). Being logged out in-between page views sounds very unusual. I'll try and repro the issue to see if I can get to the bottom of it.

Yea, could be me. The computer I'm using is a work computer that's got all kinds of blockers and stuff installed on it. But it exclusively happens when I hit submit on a new album I'm adding. Otherwise, I stay logged into the site.

This used to happen to me a few years ago; thou I assumed it was a problem with my crappy internet. It still happens once in a while, thou moreso on sites like YouTube. I noticed it used to happen on BEA whenever I left a page open for too long. To check this isn’t happening, before updating anything I always open a new tab on the site and re-log in if necessary.
