I know this shouldn't be deserving of a new topic, but I know there's some Talk Talk fans on this site, so I'd just like to say that Pitchfork reviewed the reissue of Laughing Stock, and upped their rating to a 10.0/10.

Just thought I'd let everyone know Laughing

Even at their most acceptance-hungry, there'd always been something faintly left-of-center about Talk Talk, from Mark Hollis' haunted and word-swallowing singing to the musical hints that the band was more interested in 1970s prog than 80s dance-rock.

A great description of not only Mark Hollis but what Colour Of Spring really feels like. Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock I am still increasing in appreciation for me. Really need to sit down for 2 hours and listen back-to-back.

Well considering it was in their top 10 of the 1990s (edit: actually scratch that, it was at #11), it should be rated a 10/10. And it's a really great album, too...

BTW, Loveless will also have a 20th anniversary of its release soon, does anyone know if there's some reissue or sth planned?

I just saw this on Pitchfork --- um, I mean someone TOLD me about it...yeah, that. But they also re-released the Mark Hollis solo album which is a must-have for any fan of Talk Talk's work, older or newer.
