Wow.... impossible for me to decide. Two real mixed bags. Both have great moments and both have other moment that fall completely flat for me. Can't pick. Abstaining this round and will revisit the winner in the next round.

Allegedly The Slow Show (founded 2011) were not named after the song by The National, but after listening to this album, I'm not sure I believe it. Their sound is strikingly similar, while decidedly a diet version. Lust And Learn has a number of enjoyable songs, but the album's lethargic pacing and awkward lyrics are significant flaws. New Atlantis gets my vote. _________________ Join us in the canon game :) / Add me on RYM
Not sure I would listen to either of these albums again but I'll take The Slow Show's sadness (with moments of beauty here and there) and pass on Efdemin thanks.
