This album doesn't hit you on the first listen but after a second listen this becomes one of my (unlikely) albums of the year.
You could easily mistake them with The National (the voice and the music) but they go deeper than The National also helped by an orchestral overtone which could easily end up in some cheesy soup but it doesn't. Some of the tracks like Loser's Game and Vagabond just bring tears to my eyes. I haven't been hit by a sensitive album like this so hard in a long time.
