Attempting to add the following album to a custom chart:

Album #44169 - Seeing Sounds
Artist #6020 - N*E*R*D

The only way to pull up the artist is to type "Nerd". The correct artist comes up, but none of that artist's albums are available as choices to add to the chart.

Yeah, I hate it when artists put asterisks in their names... Don't they know that's the SQL wild-card character? Brick wall

Anyhoo, it comes up when you type in "N-E-R-D" instead, but you're right, none of their albums pop up, regardless. It looks like you can still get it in there by leaving the artist field blank and typing "Seeing Sounds" into the album title field by itself, but that might not help much in other cases where if the album title is something like "Greatest Hits" or "Giving You All My Love" or something.

I could do that...but I shouldn't have to. More importantly...we have new users and users who haven't had to figure out hacks for things like this. As a new user, the inability to add this album to my chart would be very frustrating. We should be able to do this in the traditional way.

Apologies for the issue. Yes, it's an issue to do with some special characters and the way they are indexed/retrieved, but not SQL in this case. I'll check into and see if this can be fixed without introducing regression issues.
