Crowded House, i don't know the other album, so...
Just because you don't know the other album doesn't necessarily mean an automatic vote. I actually got each album in the tournament and listened to all to get an educated opinion on each.
i agree 🫢 , to make a fair vote, you need to listen to both albums.
i listened now to the 2 songs from youtube, it is still not the entire album, but i still prefer CH

I did the same, though not only because I don't know the album, but because I do like the songs on the CH one. If I don't know either album, I just abstain, though maybe in the later rounds I'll take a listen to them if I have time. In the Soundtrack tourney, I'm familiar with most of the albums, so it is easier for me to decide, and the ones I need to listen to are far fewer, which makes it both easier and more appealing.
Eventually, I'll come back to this thread and start exploring all of the albums I don't already know (a.k.a. most of them), as I think its possibly the best way to explore Australian music aside from going through the overall chart.
Of course, if it really bothers people that we're voting without giving the other album a fair chance, we could also sell our votes, because that seems to be a perfectly acceptable practice here. 🙄
Plus, be honest... if cartoken had said he'd voted for 16 Lover's Lane because he hadn't heard CH, would you have complained that he had voted for your choice? 😉
