After listening to each once, I would have voted for Fetch The Bolt Cutters, but Circuit City has grown on me tremendously and I now prefer it. Pulling for a shocking upset. _________________ Join us in the canon game :) / Add me on RYM
I really enjoyed Circuit City (I actually prefer it to the other Moor Mother album still in the tournament), but Fetch the Bolt Cutters really hit me good. It's my #2 for the year, and deservedly so. This was the first Fiona Apple album that really clicked for me, and I'm so glad it did, it's quite wonderful. (although maybe I'm just inclined to like any album that credits 4 dogs for "backing barks, collar jangles, and thrashing" in the liner notes) _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!

Circuit City for me and of course I'm happy to see this is relatively close, I expected an easy victory for Fetch The Bolt Cutters. _________________ Bob Dylan Charles Mingus
fetch the bolt cutters is one of those albums that gives me imposter syndrome cause i really just don't get it. i quite enjoyed fiona's marathon title album, so i expected to enjoy her more critically acclaimed release, but nothing with this record clicks with me.
moor mother, on the other hand, hit it at of the park with this one. for me, the imposter, that is. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
