Rozi Plain sounds more personal, vote for her. Actually discovering both acts, would listen to some more Plain, wouldn't bother listening to more Beths after hearing this track.
I've been listening to The Beths for a while, and they've continued to improve with each record release. Definitely recommend checking out the full album. Rozi Plain is new to me, and while I like it, I'm voting for The Beths _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
I wish that both of these had been around in the early 2010s when I was at the height of my indie nerdom, because my god I would've been obsessed. In the year of our lord 202whatever I'm still liking both plenty, but they each leave me with a similar feeling that the respective artists have songs I'd much prefer (I'm not entirely sure what I'm basing this feeling off of but here we are). Anyway all that is to say while I'm not in love with either, there's enough here for me to want me to dig deeper. Think I'm actually going to leave this no-vote, very odd how near each other in my brain these songs now sit for me (cestuneblague did you do this on purpose 🤔 ) _________________ A Variety of Artists
