....without making the BEA forums look like a free artist-promotion platform, no? Can't you just make a nice chart containing all the albums he appears on?

I'm interested in the songs he wrote or co-wrote. Some of them are on the same albums. If I'm not mistaken, I think I've seen other music diaries on here that were dedicated to one artist. It seems to me that certain things here appear to only be a problem when I do them. For example, I was once asked to post the music I love on the political board, while others post music like "Rage Against the Machine", which is an extremely political group. Not only are people who post "Rage Against the Machine" not asked to post the music they like on the political board, but "Rage Against the Machine" recently had an album chosen as "Album of the Day".
This board is "Music Diaries" not "Album Diaries". How does what I'm posting here not fit that criteria?
You can most certainly create a diary for this. Do please keep in mind that we try to keep active music diaries at no more than three so as to not have single users dominating the forum. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

You may delete the "LTSings Song Diary". I don't plan to use that one again. You may also, move the Christian / Gospel music thread back to the music board, because it isn't a music diary.

I will close the LTSings Song Diary as per your request.
The Christian/Gospel Music Thread can stay as a diary, or it can be locked, as you were the only one posting on it for 2 1/2 months. The music forum isn't for posting to yourself. It's for interaction between users. Interaction on that thread had ceased, and the thread would have died a natural death except for one person repeatedly posting on it without any response. Your choice. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

It's nothing personal, the problem is that Joseph Habedank is just way too obscure for a discussion thread. He has five albums listed on BEA, all of which were entered by you, but none of them appear in any charts, and the number of both ratings and listens for all five is zero. If you want to create some sort of "online shrine" to his songwriting efforts, that's fine, but it would be much more appropriate in his case to use the site's chart-making functionality - which, unlike a forum thread, would allow you to move the included albums up and down in the list at will. Then, you'd just make note of the specific songs he wrote in the comment box for each album, which (also unlike a forum thread) remain editable by you indefinitely. Even better, such a chart would be much less likely to be shut down by forum moderators.

Joseph writes songs for other artists too. The Lauren Talley song posted above is one of them. And as I said, multiple songs he wrote appear on some albums. It's not like all the albums just have one song he wrote on them. And you can call Joseph Habedank obscure if you want to, but he happens to be very popular in the Southern Gospel genre. He has even received 2 Grammy nominations in the "Roots Gospel" category. It's true he hasn't won yet, but still, he received 2 Grammy nominations. I wouldn't exactly call that "obscure".
Besides, even if he were obscure, the songs he writes is still music. This board is for music diaries. Obscure music is music, which means it qualifies.

All of which you can note in the comment box for each album in the list. Are you just not reading other people's posts, or are you actually not aware that multiple artists can be represented in the same chart, with comments for each entry? I'm completely flummoxed by this answer of yours, I'm afraid.

Well, it's not illegal, so of course you have to do it.

You said that Joseph only had five albums on the site, (By the way, I just added 3 more and he also has a duets EP with his wife Lindsay here on the site too.) I'm telling you that he writes songs for other artists too, so the songs he writes will cover more than just his own albums. A chart of albums is not what I want. I want to focus on the songs he wrote. I don't see why you have a problem with this.
