About album of the day: The BestEverAlbums.com album of the day is the album appearing most prominently in member charts in the previous 24 hours. If an album has previously been selected within a x day period, the next highest album is picked instead (and so on) to ensure a bit of variety.
I've recently begun to favor Dummy over this, but I would still rate this as one of the best albums of the 90s. "Unfinished Sympathy" is absolutely beautiful and "Daydreaming" has some great rapping as well.
I thought it was "Safe From Harm", for that amazing sampled groove from Billy Cobham's "Stratus" (the album is "Spectrum"). _________________ I'll be your plastic toy.

What ! The best song is by far Daydream. Actually it's the only good song on the album, the other tracks are either bad or average.
Massive attack is really a great band, and Mezzanine is just not less than a masterpiece, but blue line sounds so below average now.. 40/100 :?
That's because you prefer postpunk moods over soul music. Blue Lines is soulful as hell and is my favourite album from Massive Attack. This band has had an impeccable first three albums record, from soul/reggae vibes with hip hop beats, to more dub and orchestral-oriented pieces, to deliciously dark new wave... All first three albums are good, this one's still the best.
But in some way you please me, cartoken : I didn't think I'd see the day when someone would actually say that "Unfinished Sympathy" was not good. According to me this song is a masterpiece.
