Has everyone forgotten how good their debut actually was?
I know they're not a cool band to like anymore since their terrible last two albums but their debut was and is brilliant, remember hearing Molly's Chambers for the first time and thinking it was just brilliant.
Sucks I'm not allowed to post Youtube vids yet but listen to Molly's Chambers or Red Morning Light to remind yourself how good they were, please? _________________ Shut up mate you're boring!

I dunno, I think if I'm looking for a band to put me to sleep, I'll probably go with The Hold Steady.
At least they have a little talent.

I've never really liked their debut. Some of the songs are good and some of them even great, but personally I feel that Caleb sounds too drunk or something and most of the songs are too much garage rock for me.
Their best album is Because Of The Times. Aha Shake Heartbreak and Only By The Night is good too, though the latter is sometimes too poppy and contains the unbelievably overplayed Use Somebody & Sex On Fire. Haven't heard their latest album.

I think the first one was awesome but the second one is better, it's like a finished version of the first... Best songs ever that you may not know : woo hoo, third house, wicker chair, head to toe...
Saw them 2 times live and had a blast!!!

I have. I listened to both Y&YM and Aha a couple of times back when they were new (before they hit their Nickelback-level Popularity). They have always just come across as a (somehow) more boring version of Black Crowes to me. Sorry.

LOL! Too true. Massive shame because they used to be good, in my opinion anyway. _________________ Shut up mate you're boring!

It's a very solid album, but their best imo is Because of the Times, thanks to "Charmer".
