Ok then, thought I'd start this thread Smile

Anyone who's looked at my chart may have noticed that there's a few Scottish artists featured on there, but I am from Glasgow so this is expected. Anyway, was wondering if anybody else would like to share their experiences of Scottish music?

I'll start us off by saying that my favourite Scottish artists include Aztec Camera, Belle & Sebastian, Cocteau Twins, the Delgados, Franz Ferdinand, Jesus & Mary Chain, Orange Juice, the Skids and Teenage Fanclub.

Over to you Smile

Terrific band! Other favourites that come to mind:

The Vaselines
Josef K
Orange Juice (and Edwyn Collins solo)
The Beta Band
Boards of Canada
Arab Strap
Bis
The Blue Nile
Mogwai
Teenage Fanclub
BMX Bandits (probably a good call for "great artists with no great albums")
The Jesus and Mary Chain (already cited)

and of course Bert Jansch.

Idlewild. Very Happy

Just Idlewild for the time being.

Listen to '100 Broken Windows' or 'The Remote Part'

I'll have a proper look later. There is much more I know.
