I hadn't even realised the Mayhem cover was a photograph, looks like a drawing to me. Anyway, I went for Closer. That Mayhem cover is really too harsh for me to stomach. Knowing the story behind it only makes it worse.
Hmm... ๐ค Well I do like bleak and morbid photography which stirs desperate images of an artist who was on the brink facing the cold reality of life and the ever present certainty of death
And I do like grisly and bloody shock value images of human remains that are perpetuated for volatile music along with the possible exploitation of a life that tragically once was for monetary gain.
After reading the description for the Mayhem cover, I feel trolled by life.
I stumbled across Mayhem articles a few years ago. After reading about them, I had to flip through a puppy calendar just to erase the sick feeling in my gut. ๐
