Just so that I can look in the right place, which notifications are people referring to here? There are ones from the forum regarding new posts etc, but also ones from the main site regarding new comments/ratings on your chart and replies to album/track/chart comments.

For me, it's all of them, forums and the rest of the site. And there's nothing going to my spam folder.
interesting, because there are two different mechanisms and I wouldn't expect them both to fail at the same time. It might be getting blocked before it's being delivered. I'll check the mail logs to see if anything is bouncing.
EDIT: Mail is bouncing back from your ISP. I've visited their blacklist page and have submitted a removal request for BEA.

Notifiers of email messages still come as normal for me. It's notifications of chart ratings or album comments that go to spam with the <no sender> sender. The change happened on Jan 8 or 9. I didn't change anything here that I am aware of, but the email provider may have changed something that I am not.
EDIT: To clarify, notifiers of onsite messages still come as they did with webmaster@besteveralbums as sender. That's what I meant with email messages.
Seeing as it has been brought up, I get constant notifications even though I have selected no to receiving them, I just have them sent to a spam box though, so it's not really a problem

thanks for clarifying, I'll check into that, but nothing has changed on the site since before Christmas so that sounds a bit strange. 😕

Pam, you shouldn't be receiving anything without your consent. It might be, without realising, that you are still 'watching' some threads from before you changed the 'Always notify me of replies' setting. If you check your profile page, and click on the Watched topics link, you will see if anything is listed (there should be a 'delete all' button at the bottom).
