I just want to say that I am very pleased at the choices for Forum Moderators 😁
I would like to know what the criterion for closing or deleting a thread is?

I will be closing any appreciation threads for the following artists:
Green Day, U2, Kings Of Leon, Tool.
That is all.
I think I just lost moderator privileges...

Seriously though I mean Albummaster closes topics like almost never. I can't even begin to think of a situation where any of us three would use it.

Congrats on the moderator status.
I would have but teaching all day takes it out of me. And I might get frustrated too easily so brilliant choices by albummaster.

Jhereko is right, I can count on the fingers of one hand the amount of times I've closed a thread and there have been 50,000 posts on these boards.
I have only done it occasionally to put an end to discussions that are going in circles, or to draw a line under things. Closing threads will continue to only be used as a tool of last resort when everything else has failed.
