Hello All,

I have been working on this history of music project and thought maybe it could be fun to play around with it here. I have been working on each decade starting with 1950 and ending with the 2000s. I have 50-99 covered ok, but wondered if anyone would like to play along.

Should I create a google doc? Post it here? What do you think? Something fun to work on together?

Help is not the issue- just interesting discussion possibilities. Maybe someone here has something different to add to it. Or I could just post it for people to see it. That's kinda the point of this post- is this something people on this site want to do?

Interesting. I'd like having a look at the project. Might increase my knowledge or something too. And we could discuss the topic here in this thread. So I'd say, yes, definitely post it. 😁

You're referring to the Best Year in Music response? Yeah, I hope the real project has more actual info than what was shown in that post.

"Actual info" meaning that info written in your own words, from your own knowledge, from some research, rather than just Wikipedia and BEA.

And, yeah, seth, that's kinda what I was hoping 😕 An actual written up piece of 'history of music'. That might've been cool.

Not just "these events happened, these albums were released, I liked these ones" 🫢 Sorry.
