The next round for the original 'Dirty Old Town'...

'Isolation' - Joy Divison

Link

'WFL' - Happy Mondays
(and if you know where to look, you will see a young Mancsoulsister dancing in the background Very Happy )

Link

'Temptation' - New Order

Link

'Reverend Black Grape' - Black Grape

Link

And for good measure, the song that was written about Salford by the wonderful old Folk master himself, Ewan MacColl

Most difficult one for me, so far. I voted Detroit in the end. However, I wish I could have voted for both!

a difficult one, but the bigger discography of the White Stripes comparing to the only 2 albums of Joy Division, made me choose Detroit.

Ditto that

If you had included The Stooges it would have been an easy vote for Detroit

If you had included Marvin Gaye it would have been an easy vote for Detroit.

If you had included Kid Rock it would have been an easy vote for Salford.

I voted Detroit anyway.
