One thing that bothers me with the greatest albums chart on this site and on pretty much all other greatest albums charts I've come across is the complete lack of any foreign albums on the list. It would be incredibly arrogant to assume that every single one of the best albums of all time comes from the English speaking world and nowhere else, so I would like to hear some suggestions from people about some of the best foreign language albums they know - ones that would be a worthy albums on any greatest albums list.

Totally agree with you on this issue. Sometimes we can be both arrogant and ignorant for not knowing how many good music is out there.

The only album that comes to my mind, and it is a great one, is French born Manu Chao's second studio album Próxima Estación: Esperanza. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but its difficult not to love and admire. Chao sings in at least 5 different languages with a diverse influence of music. I pretty much prefer his previous album Clandestino, which I think it is a great record and his best in my opinion.
