I put up a custom chart yesterday, and meant to complete it today with note for each album. I took me a solid three hours to do this, only to realize that the site wouldn't allow me to submit the amended chart! (The page is still "submitting"). So, I opened an new page with my chart on it, copied/pasted every comment I had made, submitted the chart and... same thing happened. The thing has been "sumitting chart" for a solid 45 minutes now, and I certainly don't want to type it all again... The rest of the site works fine. What's happening? What can I do?
Things are getting worse. Now I can't even update one single comment, and whenever I get back to my chart, it has been automatically locked ! No-one can comment on it or view it. What's happening?
Ah, I finally managed to unlock it. Still can't post an entry comment though. I'll keep you posted, one day and a half of work over this, it's getting fun in a weird sort of way.
Hi Norman, apologies for the problem. I'm just looking at it now as I've been away from the site this afternoon. I can see the chart in the database, and there looks like there's chart comments up to entry 60. The chart is currently not set as public, which is why nobody can view it. I can't see any error messages in the server log, but I'll investigate to see what other issue could be causing this. There's a server upgrade planned next week, so if it's a scalability issue, it should be improved by the upgrade but I'll check to see if there might be some other issue that might be causing it.

The server load seems pretty normal at the moment, I think maybe custom charts are causing a few locking issues as there's a lot of new albums being added to the database (far more than before). I'll have a look into this and see what can be done to improve performance.
