  • Post subject: Best 10 song albums
This post is motivated by purely selfish reasons. I get 5 free track downloads every month through my bank account and have found the best way to use them is to get 5 tracks on the last day of one month and 5 tracks on the first day of the next month and voila I've got a whole album.
I'll start with my favourite 10 song album which is Hit to Death in the Future Head by The Flaming Lips. I know it officially has 11 tracks but as the last track is 20 minutes of a feedback loop which I've only ever managed to get all the way through twice I'm discounting it.
I'm hopeful of some good answers here so thanks in advance. Very Happy

America's self-titled debut is a great 10 song album if you like more acoustic type songs.

Reckless By Bryan Adams. Amazing hit after hit after hit. Of course everything afterward was mediocre.

a lot of the ones mentioned, as well as:

violent femmes - violent femmes
american beauty - grateful dead
wolfgang amadaeus phoenix - phoenix

also, this isn't 10 tracks, but for your purposes i'd definitely recommend "wish you were here" by pink floyd, it's 5 tracks so you could get the whole thing in one month.
