Not a fan of his music (with a couple of exceptions), but when it comes to having a great versatile voice, Mick Hucknall has one of the best.

Freddie Mercury and Prince are also great shouts.

Tim Buckley.

Also jarboe (of Swans)

In the live versions of I crawled she sings, she managed to go from creepy monotone spoken vocals, to strained moan, to pseudo-operatic wail, to high pitched little girl sounds, to crazed growling/screaming:

yes. Tim Buckley.

what about Rahzel? That man can do some amazing things with his voice.

How about a lady? Jarboe is definitely an interesting pick

Kate Bush and Björk are both rather incredible.

I'm waiting for someone to say Meatloaf.
