The The deserve a a lot of respect, but unfortunately their up against The Birthday Party. The Birthday Party gets my vote

Since a majority of the Aussie noms are out of the tourney already, it would be nice to see the Birthday Party in. The The I am listening to right now but with Cave and Howard in the one band, Birthday Party gets my vote. Also they reference the best playwright ever!

Vote for The Birthday Party! not only have the members gone on to make nearly as influential and stunning music in their solo careers, the power of both the violence and that all-consuming gothic atmosphere has rarely been equaled. Truly a stunning band.

Voted for The The, simply because I couldn't choose (both are great) and I thought 5 points was a bit of a steep lead in a matchup I thought would/should be tighter.
