I don't know about you but I constantly think of The Simpsons all the time, so many little things in everyday life remind me of them or rather a particular scene. I also know that special feeling you get inside when you meet someone who likes them as much as you, the sort of person you can have an entire hilarious conversation to without words.

Anyway I thought it would be cool if there was a thread where everyone could share some of their favourite scenes.

Also as you may have noticed from the poll I might run a tournament sometime in the future if people are keen for it. No promises though and no snide remarks Jhereko! (of course I will wait for all current and pending tournaments first)

Anyway here is one I just watched before. Sorry about the quality.

The Simpsons are classic.

I could fill up this thread like GARY would an Iron Maiden or illuminati thread.

Spider-Pig beats all. This is also the best tourney I've heard yet.

No chance. You need to watch the show more. Especially it's late-90s peak.

It really sucks that I don;t have cable. Plus, I don't think Mom would want me watching Simpsons with a baby in the house... but she may not even remember it, so I don't know. But I've seen plenty of episodes, and yeah, Spider-Pig beats all episodes.

Nope. Dead wrong. Sorry JMan. Watch the show more. The movie was alright, but nowhere near the brilliance of some of the episodes. Go back to the first 6 or so seasons.

Yes yes yes. Seasons 5 & 6 are my favorites, but 2-10 are all great for the most part.

Does the "toaster" option reference this?

Not super familiar with The Simpsons, but I know a few episodes and would certainly be willing to nominate a scene or two 😄

Haha, if we're limited to nominating one scene, that might have to be my scene. Though the hardest I've ever laughed at a television set was this moment right here:

(sorry it cuts parts out, I couldn't find a video of the whole thing)
