Really sad news out of Brooklyn today. A former member of the band Yellow Dogs shots and killed his former band members, possibly in reaction to being fired from the band. Yellow Dogs were originally from Iran, so this news could turn into quite a mess.
I actually just saw these guys about a week and half ago. Probably their last ever show. They were pretty awesome. Kind of sounded like a modernized version of the Clash, with some post-punk influences.
I literally just read about these guys 2 days ago for the first time, thinking they were an interesting band 😕 I just downloaded their final EP yesterday.
Yeah. I never knew them personally, but saw them a couple times, and had tried to book them. A bunch of my musician friends knew them. Really sad day in Brooklyn.
