I love Dry (though it took me some time to get past its messy nature), but Isn't Anything is pretty incredible. I'm voting for MBV.

Equally good but not amazing to me. I'll relisten to both.

even tougher for me that the Exile/Blue Lines matchup. PJ has gone on to have one of the greatest careers in music, but Isn't Anything is about as good as it gets. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

I'm voting Dry. Smashing debut, and a sanitary slap in the face when it came out. I like Isn't Anything, but on the whole it seems just a wee bit less consistent.

Alright. I loves me some MBV, but I really couldn't sleep right if I were to vote against Dry for this round.
PJ Harvey FTW!

Went with Dry in the end, though both are fantastic.

While I have a slight problem with Isn't Anything being considered a debut, I find it a far better album than Dry (though I had given that album another listen and I like it a quite a bit more than before)
