Abstained because I haven't actually heard either album in full.
But seriously surprised For Emma is losing (from what I've heard of both, I prefer FEFA) _________________

I mean, it was going to be tough to beat my nominee here. For Emma is one of my favorite albums if not my favorite. I went in open minded that maybe something would be better. I'd still vote for Unknown Pleasures over this, and maybe Quasimoto would be some new JD for me.
As it turns out, Quasimoto is whiny and repetitive rap. I'm picky about my rap, I know, but this is ... it's bad. The one exception is Bluffin', a song I went ahead and favorited, even. Something very Outkast about that song. Even then, it's a little whiny for me.
I know, the irony of saying something was whiny when I'm voting for For Emma. For Emma's art to me, even if a little whiny. This is just ... bleh. By the end of the album, it got to the point where I could guess what a lot of the lyrics were going to be.
Long story short, while Quasimoto might be good to some, For Emma is more for me. _________________
Abstaining. One of the albums was so painful I couldn't bear to listen past the fourth track, and the rule is, you have to listen to both albums to vote, and voting on this one isn't worth it. Didn't much like the other one anyway.
Eh... I didn't even get what was supposed to be enjoyed in The Unseen. I guess I didn't "get" it, or some shit like that, so I'll keep it on my iTunes and give it another listen later, but right now, my vote is for Bon Iver by a landslide.
