I've got some listening to do, don't know Skream. I quite like Roman Candle, but there's room for a win if Skream! is very good.

It's gonna take a hell of a lot for a dub step record to beat out the debut of one of my all time favorite songwriters, but i'll give it a shot

Roman Candle, unfortunately. If it were up against Burial or Crooks & Lovers or maybe London Zoo then it might be different, but Skream! never did a whole lot for me.

I only nominated Skream! as I was listening to it at the time of my nomination and the Spaceghostpurrp mixtape I was going to nominate wasn't his first, it's probably not in my top 100 debuts. It's a cool record though and I prefer it to Roman Candle . Listen to it if you get the chance.

Skream! had some cool sounds going on, but it certainly won't stay wiht me for the rest of my life the way Roman Candle will.

Roman Candle was all right, pretty good for background. Not something I'd want to listen to while driving home, but good music to work to. Now, Skream! is a soundtrack to a movie I want to watch, a video game I want to play.

Both of these albums feel like decent debuts by artists with a lot more potential.
That said, Elliott Smith's was far better.
